Forty Sacred Hadith Qudsi – Hadith 6

Hadith 6 Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي وَأَنَا مَعَهُ إِذَا ذَكَرَنِي فَإِنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي نَفْسِهِ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي نَفْسِي وَإِنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي مَلَإٍ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي مَلَإٍ خَيْرٍ مِنْهُمْ وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ بِشِبْرٍ تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ ذِرَاعًا وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ ذِرَاعًا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ بَاعًا وَإِنْ أَتَانِي يَمْشِي أَتَيْتُهُ هَرْوَلَةً

Allah Almighty says: I am as My servant expects of Me and I am with him as he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I will remember him in Myself. If he mentions Me in a gathering, I will mention him in a greater gathering. When he draws near Me by the span of his hand, I draw near him by the length of a cubit. When he draws near Me by the length of a cubit, I draw near him by the length of a fathom. When he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.

[BS] Allah Uzvišeni kaže: Ja sam prema mišljenju Moga roba o Meni, i Ja sam s njim kada Me spomene. Pa ako Me spomene u sebi, Ja ga spomenem u Sebi, a ako Me spomene u skupu, Ja ga spomenem u skupu boljem od njihovog. A ako mi se približi za pedalj, Ja mu se približim za lakat, a ako mi se približi za lakat, Ja mu se približim za hvat. A ako mi dođe hodajući, Ja mu dolazim trčeći.

[EN] Allah, the Most High, says: I am in accordance with the expectation of My servant about Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself, and if he remembers Me in an assembly, I remember him in an assembly better than them. If he draws near to Me by a hand-span, I draw near to him by a forearm's length, and if he draws near to Me by a forearm's length, I draw near to him by a fathom's length, and if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.

يَقُولُ اللَّهُ إِنْ ظَنَّ بِي خَيْرًا فَلَهُ وَإِنْ ظَنَّ شَرًّا فَلَهُ

Allah Almighty says: I am as My servants expects of Me. If he thinks good of Me, he will have it. If he thinks evil of Me, he will have it.

[BS] Allah kaže: Ako o Meni misli dobro, to je za njega, a ako misli loše, to je za njega.

[EN] Allah says: If he thinks well of Me, then it is for him, and if he thinks ill, then it is for him.
