Forty Sacred Hadith Qudsi – Hadith 27

Hadith 27 Suhayb reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى تُرِيدُونَ شَيْئًا أَزِيدُكُمْ فَيَقُولُونَ أَلَمْ تُبَيِّضْ وُجُوهَنَا أَلَمْ تُدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ وَتُنَجِّنَا مِنْ النَّارِ قَالَ فَيَكْشِفُ الْحِجَابَ فَمَا أُعْطُوا شَيْئًا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ النَّظَرِ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

When the people of Paradise enter it, Allah Almighty will say: Would you like anything more? They will say: Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not admitted us into Paradise and saved us from Hellfire? Then, Allah will lift the veil and nothing they are given will be more beloved to them than looking at their Lord Almighty. Then, the Prophet recited the verse:

[EN] When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allah the Blessed and Most High says: 'Do you want something? Shall I increase you?' They say: 'Did You not whiten our faces? Did You not admit us to Paradise and save us from the Fire?' He said: Then He removes the veil, and they were not given anything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord, Mighty and Majestic.

[BS] Kada ljude Raja uđu u Raj, Alah Blagoslovljeni i Uzvišeni kaže: 'Želite li nešto? Trebam li vam dati više?' Oni kažu: 'Niste li nam izbjeljivali lica? Niste li nas pustili u Raj i spasili nas od vatre?' Rekao je: Tada On uklanja veo, i nisu im dane ništa mila kao što je pogled na Gospodara njihovog, Moćni i Veličanstveni.'

لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا الْحُسْنَى وَزِيَادَةٌ
